KNASCAR Knowledge Announces 2011 Contest Final Results

November 21, 2011 (TPI – Toms River, NJ) – After 36 weekly questions answered by scores of some very committed and smart contestants, the KNASCAR Knowledge contest reached the checkered line this year in conjunction with the final Sprint cup race at Homestead Miami Speedway. While Tony Stewart came from behind and won his third title, Philly17fan of Doylestown Pennsylvania won the Ninth year of the KNASCAR Knowledge Trivia contest, so congratulations to Philly17fan! He will soon receive our 2011 Prize Package.
Gael, last year's winner, was in the hunt for his 2nd title in a row and was in the top 10 for much of the chase and ended up 6th. While Philly17fan powered his way to the top with 7 wins (answering the weekly question correctly first) on the season, a few other contestants also attained some noteworthy results. Badger17 had 6 wins on the season, which was second best, but also guessed the weekly Cup winner 6 times as well! for the season. Final congratulations to CFD17 who, despite missing the chase, maintained the 13th place position throughout the final weeks of the season.
Five our 12 Chasers had less than 10 Top 5's on the whole season, which proves you can still accumulate a good position on the year just by entering every week!

About the KNASCAR Knowledge Trivia contest
On race weekends, pre-registered contestants try to quickly answer questions about NASCAR races, rules, events, history, and teams, with the key adverb being quickly. The faster contestants answer the weekly question, the more points they get. Weekly points are based on the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series points system with the contest winner being the contestant with the most points at the end of the season. The contest started during the Daytona Speed Weeks and ended November 20th, 2011. Hopefully, we’ll be back for another season in 2012.
